A: Refined oils are extracted using high heat and chemical solvents like Hexane, followed by bleaching and deodorizing. Cold-Pressed (Kachi Ghani) oil is extracted by mechanically crushing seeds at room temperature, preserving the natural flavor, aroma, and nutrients.
Q2: Is Wood-Pressed oil better for deep frying?
A: Yes. Because Wood-Pressed oils like Groundnut or Mustard oil are unrefined, they have better molecular stability. However, it is important to monitor the smoke point. They are much healthier for traditional Indian frying than "refined" vegetable oils.
